Lifelong Resident, Sports Fanatic, and Beloved Aunt

Waterville, Maine – Nancy M. St. Pierre, a lifelong resident of Waterville and an avid sports enthusiast, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Northern Light Inland Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 22, 1932, Nancy was the daughter of Arthur and Blanche (Huard) St. Pierre. She spent her entire life in the Waterville community, where she was known for her friendly smile and love for local establishments.

Sports Fan Extraordinaire

Nancy’s passion for sports, particularly the San Francisco 49ers, knew no bounds. She was a devout fan of quarterback Joe Montana and cheered enthusiastically for the team’s success. Her love for sports extended beyond the 49ers as she enjoyed watching a variety of games and keeping up with the latest sports news.

Local Patron and Community Member

Nancy’s favorite local spot was the Red Barn Restaurant, where she frequently dined and enjoyed the company of her friends. The restaurant became a second home to her, and she cherished the memories made there.

Nancy was a dedicated and supportive aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She always made time for them, offering guidance, love, and unwavering support. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A Life Well-Lived

Nancy lived a full and happy life. She found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was watching her favorite sports teams, dining at the Red Barn, or spending time with her family. Her infectious laugh and warm personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Blanche St. Pierre; her sisters, Jeanette Nadeau and Blanche Mathieu; and her brother, Robert Pierre.

She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory forever.

Memorial Arrangements

A committal ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:15 am, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville, Maine, 04901.

Those who wish to pay their respects are invited to attend the ceremony and share their memories of Nancy.

In Memoriam

Nancy’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Inland Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nancy’s memory to the Waterville Boys & Girls Club, an organization that supports youth development in the community she loved.
