Life and Accomplishments
Virginia Rae Robertson, a woman who touched the lives of countless individuals with her art, love, and unwavering spirit, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Born on September 11, 1941, in Yuba City, California, Virginia spent her childhood in Vallejo, where she attended Vallejo High School, graduating in 1959. Her passion for the arts blossomed at Napa Junior College, where she pursued a degree in the field.
Later in life, Virginia’s thirst for knowledge led her to pursue an Associate of Arts degree and a Master’s degree from Sierra Nevada College, majoring in Art. Her artistic talent manifested in stunning paintings that captured the essence of her surroundings and the beauty she found in life.
Family and Legacy
Virginia leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Robertson of Benicia, California, and Jeff Robertson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Kaijah Robertson of Benicia, California.
Virginia’s life journey took her across several states, including California, Oregon, Nevada, and Arkansas. She found joy and fulfillment in her time living and working in Vallejo and San Francisco, where she worked as a Registered Client Associate at Merrill Lynch.
Passions and Interests
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Virginia had a boundless love for travel, music, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Her beloved pets held a special place in her heart, providing her with endless companionship.
As Virginia’s health declined, she found solace and support at the Peachtree Village Retirement Community in Holiday Island, Arkansas, where she resided near her son, Jeff. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
