Robert Willis Foster Jr., a 62-year-old Randolph resident, was laid to rest at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on August 8th. Foster Jr. was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

The committal service was held at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery’s Committal Shelter, located at 143 Blue Star Avenue in Augusta. A celebration of Foster Jr.’s life was held immediately following the service at American Legion Post 4 in Gardiner.

The Randolph community is mourning the loss of Robert Willis Foster Jr., a longtime resident and respected member of the community. Foster Jr. was known for his kind heart and his willingness to help others.
