Renfield C. Jachimowski, 82, of Antioch, Illinois, passed away at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital on Friday, May 3, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy; sister-in-law, Barbara Strang; brother; cousins; best friend, Tom (Sue) White; and loving dog, Elvie.
Renfield was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 3, 1942, to Dr. Tedfield and Irene (Lisowski) Jachimowski. He graduated from Niles Township High School in 1960 and worked for OMC and Tech Service in Waukegan, Illinois.
He enjoyed boating, water-skiing, snowmobiling, and gardening. He was also an avid Corvette enthusiast and a member of several Corvette clubs.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main Street, Antioch, Illinois 60002.
Interment will follow in Millburn Cemetery in Old Mill Creek, Illinois.
