Vincent J. Waidzulis, Jr., a 73-year-old resident of Antioch, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Born on March 22, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, Vincent was the beloved son of the late Vincent J., Sr. and Sylvia Waidzulis. He spent his early years in Chicago and later made Antioch his home.

Vincent was a dedicated and hardworking employee for 23 years at Napleton Ford, where he served as a parts manager. He was passionate about his profession and took great pride in his work.

Outside of work, Vincent pursued his hobbies with enthusiasm. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed exploring the open road. His love for animals was evident in his adoration for his dogs, Moose and Aggie.

On April 22, 2004, Vincent embarked on a new chapter in his life when he married Mary A. Petersik in Antioch. Together, they built a loving and supportive home.

Vincent is lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 20 years, Mary; his sons, Brian (Julie) Waidzulis and Robert “Bobby” Waidzulis; his step-son, Charles Petersik; and his granddaughter, Zoey Petersik. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Charmaine (Grover) Gunn; his nieces and nephews, Charmaine Gunn, Jaime Gunn, Paul Gunn, Steven Gunn, and Ray Gunn; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Vincent was a kind and compassionate individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Memorial services to honor Vincent’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Strang Funeral Home in Antioch. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
