Obituary

Suzanne M. Bowers, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023. She was 67 years old.

Suzanne was born in New York City on August 15, 1955. She grew up in a loving home with her parents and two sisters. Suzanne was a bright and curious child, and she excelled in her studies. She graduated from high school with honors and went on to earn a degree in nursing from Columbia University.

After graduation, Suzanne worked as a registered nurse at a local hospital. She was a compassionate and caring nurse, and she made a difference in the lives of many patients. Suzanne met her husband, John, while working at the hospital. They fell in love and were married in 1982. Together, they had two children, Sarah and Emily.

Suzanne devoted her life to her family. She was a loving and supportive wife and mother. She always put her family’s needs before her own. Suzanne enjoyed spending time with her family, and she loved to travel. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking.

Suzanne was a kind and generous person. She always put others before herself. She was a true friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Planting a Living Memorial

As a way to honor Suzanne’s memory, the family has planted a tree in her favorite park. They invite others to plant trees or flowers in her memory as well.
