## R.L. Stine Confirms Three More Fear Street Films in Development

This announcement adds significantly to the franchise’s future. While *Prom Queen*, slated for release in 2025, adapts Stine’s 1992 novel of the same name, the three newly announced films will explore further tales from the vast *Fear Street* universe. Stine expressed optimism about these projects, stating that the writers are actively working on the scripts. This means that, including *Prom Queen*, at least four new *Fear Street* films are on the horizon.
*Fear Street: Prom Queen* itself promises a thrilling return to Shadyside, Ohio, during prom season. While Chloe Okuno was initially attached to direct a subsequent *Fear Street* film, the project is now being helmed by Matthew Palmer, director of the 2018 Netflix thriller *Calibre*, who also co-wrote the screenplay with *Calibre* cast member Donald McLeary. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson of Chernin Entertainment are producing, with Yvonne Bernard, Joan Waricha, and Jane Stine serving as executive producers.
