William “Bill” John Harman, 69, formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Personal Life

Bill was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on April 3, 1955, to Charles E. Harman and Grace E. (Gerhart) Kruppenbach. He was a graduate of Reading High School (1973) and a member of the school’s marching band and alumni band, playing the trombone.

Bill served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1978, earning a Good Conduct Medal, Marksmanship Award, and Expert Grenade Medal.

After his military service, Bill worked as a realtor for Caldwell Bankers in Pennsylvania. Later, he moved to Arizona, where he spent 23 years as a credit card fraud analyst for Chase Banking.

Bill is survived by his husband, Steven C. Bausher, whom he married on [date of marriage].

He is also survived by his children: Matthew Bausher (Kyrie), Michelle Heller (Jeffrey Kruppenbach), and Brian Kruppenbach.

Bill was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren: Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Rachael, Steven, Brianna, Lydia, Heather, and Victoria. He also had two great-grandchildren, Ariella and Kaelin.

Memorial Service

A viewing will be held for Bill on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Auman’s Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM.

Bill will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
