Every Word Cookies player knows the moment: one word left, a pan of letters staring back, and the answer will not come. This solver is the dependable way out of it. Type in the letters your level gives you, choose the word length you are missing, and it lists every word those letters can make — no level numbers, no pack names, nothing to look up. Because it works from your letters rather than a printed answer table, it works for every level in every version of the game. It runs in your browser against our 359,039-word list. You can use this Word Cookies Answers free on IlmHunt — no sign-up needed, and it runs entirely in your browser.
How to use the Word Cookies solver
Read the letters off the pan at the bottom of your level — order does not matter — and type them into the letters box. Then set the length to the word you are missing: the empty row in the level shows you exactly how many letters it has. Press Find the Words and try the results in the game. If you are missing two words, run the solver once per length, or leave the length on All lengths and browse everything the letters can make at once; the results are grouped by length either way, so the words you need are easy to pick out. Repeated letters matter: if the pan shows two E’s, type both, because many levels hinge on using a letter twice.
A worked example
Say a level deals you the letters E, R, B, A, K. The solver finds 56 words in them. The five-letter answers — the ones that usually finish a level — are baker, brake and break, plus the rarer kebar. Drop to four letters and there are thirteen more, including bake, bark, beak, bare, bear, kerb and rake — several of which are the bonus-word fodder that fills the cookie jar. Three letters down, everyday words like bar, ear and are appear. One letter bank, every answer the level can be asking for, in seconds.
Why we do not print level-by-level answer tables
Plenty of sites list “Word Cookies level 142 answers” — and plenty of players find those lists useless, because they are quietly wrong for their game. Word Cookies has been re-released in several editions, levels are reordered between updates, and the same level number holds different letters in different versions. A copied table goes stale; your letters never do. The letter-based method on this page is the one approach that cannot expire: whatever level, pack or edition you are playing, the words must be built from the letters in front of you, and this solver enumerates exactly those words. We would rather give you a method that always works than a thousand tables that sometimes do.
Tips for finishing levels faster
Work long to short: the longest word in a level usually unlocks the pattern of the rest, so solve the biggest length first. Watch for the common endings — a bank containing E, R and S often hides plurals and -er words, and finding one reveals its siblings. When one word remains and the solver offers several of the right length, try them in order of how ordinary they look; the game favours common words for its main answers and saves the odd ones for the bonus jar. And if the game rejects a word the solver found, do not argue — its dictionary is smaller than ours; move to the next candidate of that length.
Limitations worth knowing
Our word list is broader than the game’s own dictionary, in both directions: a few listed words will be rejected as main answers (they often still count as bonus words), and very rarely the game accepts a word our list lacks. The solver finds words, not level layouts, so it cannot tell you which found word belongs in which slot beyond matching lengths. Levels that ask for a two-word phrase are handled one word at a time — solve each length separately with the same letters.
Word Cookies Answers – frequently asked questions
Does this work for my exact level?
Yes — deliberately so. It never asks your level number. Whatever letters your level shows you, the answers must be built from them, and those are precisely the words the solver lists.
The game rejected a word the solver found. Why?
Word Cookies uses a smaller dictionary than our 359,039-word list. Rejected words usually still earn bonus-word credit; for the main slots, prefer the most ordinary-looking candidates of the right length.
A word I need is missing from the results. What now?
Check the letters — a misread tile is the usual cause, especially repeated letters, which must be typed as many times as they appear on the pan. Then try All lengths in case the missing word is longer or shorter than you assumed.
Does it work for other letter-bank games?
Yes. Any game that gives you a bank of letters and asks for words of set lengths — Word Cookies Man, Word Bakery and their many cousins — works the same way.
