Barbara Joan Brandon, 87, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in Vinemont, Alabama.

A Life Well-Lived

Barbara was born to Ed and Agnes Huffstutler on [insert date]. She grew up in a loving home surrounded by her family, who instilled in her the values of kindness, compassion, and hard work.

In 1956, Barbara married the love of her life, Asa Lee Brandon. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and memories that would last a lifetime. They raised a family of three children: Cyndy, Bethany, and Beverly, who brought immense joy to their lives.

Barbara dedicated her life to her family and her community. She was a devoted wife and a nurturing mother who always put the needs of others before her own. She was known for her warmth, her infectious laugh, and her unwavering faith.

Legacy of Love

Barbara’s legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters: Cyndy Brandon Drake, Bethany Brandon Parker, and Beverly Brandon Wix; brother, Don Brandon; ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever, and her spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home in Vinemont, Alabama. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Barbara’s memory.
