Delmon Lynell Qualls, a respected and cherished resident of Cullman, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the age of 88. He was surrounded by his devoted family at his residence, where he had lived a long and fulfilling life.

Early Life and Family

Delmon was born on May 1, 1936, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Dillard Fillmore Qualls and Elwy Scott Qualls. He grew up in a close-knit family with his siblings, Melba Qualls Eady, Geraldine Qualls, Donald Wyland Qualls, Eddie Rae Qualls, and Linda Qualls Bolzle.

Marriage and Family

In 1959, Delmon married the love of his life, Vivion Seibenhener. They shared a loving and supportive partnership for 65 remarkable years. Together, they raised two sons, Jane Qualls Hudson and Wayne Qualls. Delmon was a devoted husband and father, and he cherished his family above all else.

Reverend Kenneth Pruitt, uncle to Vivion and a family friend, Ben Mayo, will officiate the ceremony. Visitation will be held at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the graveside service.

Pallbearers

The pallbearers for Delmon’s graveside service will be Cody Hudson, Matt Qualls, Randy Bolzle, Will Bolzle, Matt Baggett, and Isaac Baggett.

In Memoriam

Delmon Lynell Qualls will be deeply missed by his wife, Vivion Seibenhener Qualls; son, Wayne Qualls; grandsons, Cody Hudson and Matt Qualls; sister, Linda Qualls Bolzle; and a host of extended family and friends.
