IELTS alternative: official confirmation that the language of instruction at your secondary school or completed bachelor’s program was English; also accepts PTE Academic 59, TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 5.5, Cambridge B2 First, TELC B2, or UNIcert II. Duolingo is not accepted.

Bonn’s threshold scores are lower than several other universities on this list, which makes it a reasonable backup if you are also holding a borderline IELTS score elsewhere.
