Obituary: Pelham Ross K. “Keith” Whynot Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pelham Ross K. “Keith” Whynot Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Keith passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Fairview Rehab and Senior Living in Hudson, NH.

Keith was born and raised in Wentworth, NH, and later moved to Lowell, Massachusetts, where he spent many years. He ultimately made his home in Pelham, New Hampshire, where he lived for a considerable period.

Keith was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a doting husband to his beloved wife Linda (Robinson) Whynot, to whom he was married for over 58 years. Keith was a proud father of two children: Christopher M. Whynot of Pelham, NH, and Tracey D. Goldman and her husband Glenn of Dracut, MA. He adored his grandchildren, Ryan Demmons and Shelby Demmons and her partner Ben Auger, and his great-grandchildren, Landon and Bentley. Keith’s family was the center of his life, and he loved spending time with them, creating cherished memories.

In addition to his immediate family, Keith is survived by his sister Elizabeth Mikonis of Windham, NH, a nephew Todd Mikonis and his wife Krissy of Hollis, NH, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Keith was a dedicated brother and uncle who loved his extended family dearly.

Keith’s family and friends will cherish his memory as a kind, compassionate, and generous man. He was known for his infectious laughter, his quick wit, and his unwavering love for his family.

Keith’s loss is a profound void for his family, but they take comfort in knowing that he lived a full and meaningful life, surrounded by those who loved him.
